MEET BRYAN CODY

Bryan Cody grew up in Michigan learning the values from his family and neighbors that still guide him today. He earned his associate degree at Mid Michigan College before transferring to Central Michigan University. While at CMU, he studied abroad in Spain, an experience that broadened his perspective and reinforced his belief in strong communities and new ideas.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a minor in Information Systems, Bryan chose to make Grand Rapids his home because of its rich history and strong potential to build an even more vibrant and connected community. Since then, he has invested in the city through his work and involvement with the Heritage Hill Association, the Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors, and the Commercial Alliance of Realtors.

As a tenant turned homeowner and property manager, Bryan has seen housing from every side. At 32, he understands both the affordability challenges residents face and the city processes that need improvement. He believes Grand Rapids needs practical, responsive leadership that supports safe, sustainable growth that keeps Ward 2 moving forward.
